Another film by Elms Lesters Painting Rooms for their October 2015 exhibition 'ADAM NEATE: DIMENSIONALIST PAINTER'. Once again I composed and recorded the music for it. Another film by Elms Lesters Painting Rooms for their September 2014 exhibition 'DIMENSIONALISM'. This was my first commission for the gallery, and I chose to use just piano in the music that I wrote. It was Filmed and edited by Steven Williams. Music Produced by Charlie Marshall.
This is a composition of mine entitled 'Passing Storm' being performed by the Christ's Hospital Brass Ensemble in February 2013.
It is scored for a Brass Ensemble and some Orchestral Percussion (2 Timpani's, Snare Drum, and Cymbals).
It was then performed at St. John's Smith Square, in Westminster, London, later that month, the recording of which can be found HERE.
Back in 2013 I was invited to play Trumpet on the soundtrack to the powerful independent film 'Warriors', which documents a group of young Maasai warriors in a remote region of Kenya, who formed a remarkable cricket team that went on to compete in London for the 'Last Man Stands World Championship'. They used the power and influence that they attained from the cricket, to campaign against FGM and early marriages for young girls within the Maasai Tribes in Kenya. My trumpet was used in numerous scenes throughout the film, including the credits at the end (unfortunately not in this trailer!).
Here's a very old clip of me performing on the trumpet (back right) with the band Electricity in Our Homes, performing at Rough Trade East, next to Brick Lane in August 2011.
